Universal Health Services Inc announced on Thursday, September 30, 2020, that its network is being restored after a malware attack knocked it out for five days.
UHS has not declared on what exactly caused the incident, but experts described it as a ransomware attack.
UHS, which runs more than 400 healthcare centers & hospitals across the globe. According to the company, its U.K operations are unaffected.
