The Covid-19 cases in India dropping, the pace of vaccination speeding up, collectively managed to drive up the positive sentiment in the market and in the corporate world too. With cases diving, the corporate industry is preparing with full force to call employees back to the office.

But top companies like Nestle India, Tata Consumers, Dabur, Godrej Consumers have decided to give choices to employees to choose between the option of WFH, WFO, and hybrid model. The companies took this decision at a time when most of the employees are vaccinated.

A few days back, TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan announced that the company is planning to call 90 percent of its employees back to offices by the end of the year. However, TCS announced by 2025, the company will allow 25 percent of its employees to WFH. However, other IT giants like Wipro, Infosys are on the same path.

Wipro mentioned that all doubly vaccinated employees in top leadership positions begin working from offices in India. They have implemented a hybrid style of working in which top leaders are working twice a week, Monday and Thursday.

Apart from IT giants like TCS, Wipro, Infosys who all have made their intent very clear that they are planning to end the work from home.

Major important players in the banking sector are also working towards bringing the workforce back to the office like Kotak Mahindra Bank, who is also planning to call 90 percent of their workforce to the office by the end of this year 2021, the business daily the Economic Times reported today.

Some other banking giants HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, YES Bank are also planning to resume office with 90 percent of the workforce in the next couple of months.

Kotak Mahindra made this clear that the bank is planning to call 90 percent of the double vaccinated workforce back to the office.
